Privacy policy
Spool is in private preview, and this site collects very little. This page describes exactly what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your work email, when you request access. It is stored in Spool's database and used for one purpose: contacting you about preview access. Nothing is collected if you don't submit the form.
- Privacy-friendly page analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and is not linked to your email.
- On-device state, in your browser only. If you request access, this browser's local storage keeps your email and request receipt (spool-waitlist-v3) so the page can show your request when you return, and the interactive demo keeps your on-page choices (spool-taste-history-v1). Neither leaves your device, and clearing your browser storage removes both.
- Abuse-prevention counters. Access requests update a counter keyed to a hashed network address, kept for at most 24 hours and never linked to your email.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything beyond the preview-access conversation you asked for.
Deletion
Want your email removed from the access list? Write to hello@spool.vision and we'll delete it.
